Participants in the Employer of Choice Program will learn about and gain experience using 8 tools and practices to be applied in their businesses to enhance workforce attraction, retention and productivity. Participants will also gain awareness and understanding of factors contributing to current results.
The Employer of Choice Program will be delivered and facilitated over Zoom and Google Classrooms.
Training will be provided on how to use both platforms.
Access to reliable internet and a computer is required for participation in the program.
Participants will also receive a workbook by mail to support participation in the program.
As part of this program, we will issue an anonymous pre and post survey to the employees of all the companies that participate in the program. This data will be shared in aggregate (not by individual company) with the program participants to provide feedback on where the group is as a whole related to workforce practices and also assess changes four months after the program in June 2021.
In order to keep employee responses confidential, individual firm level responses will not be shared.
This program is designed to work with people who are currently responsible for managing, hiring and developing staff. Only those in positions with this responsibility are eligible to participate in this program.
Due to the delivery method, having access to reliable internet that allows you to regularly access email, Zoom and Google Classroom is required.
The intention of the Employer of Choice Program is to create a safe and constructive environment for learning and sharing among participants.
All program participants will be required to abide by a code of conduct that includes maintaining the confidentiality of information shared by other members in the program.
